NGC 1499 – The California Nebula

I must say that I’m happy with the observatory due to the fact that the equipment is always ready to go and that I don’t have to do any setup, balancing or polar alignment. This allows me to make the most of those nights when it’s only clear for an hour or two and not have to think about if it’s worth it or not. In between clouds I did get a full clear night and I pointed the telescope to the California Nebula in Perseus.
