Building an Observatory Part 13

Almost all complete on the outside, just a little painting left and some metal work, but that will have to wait until I have the roof motor control in place. In this video I will rebuild the external rails to allow for the roof to open a bit longer and giving them some more strength as well as rail supports to prevent the roof from sliding off the rails. I will also strengthen the rail supports and adjust them to keep the roof straight. Inside the observatory I will run conduits in the walls for wires and construct the mount for the slide gate motor as well as put it in place. I have also included a detailed segment on how to use external magnetic switches to limit the motor and stop it when the roof is fully open and closed.
