Preparing the observatory

It is that time of the year again, and no, I’m not talking about Christmas yet, I am talking about the weeks leading up to the first astro darkness. Up here at 63 degrees north that is in the end of august and that also means that summer is ending. Finally, shorter days, freezing temperatures and hopefully countless clear nights of astrophotography. But, to do that I have to fix my observatory.
