Lobster Claw Nebula

SH2-157, also known as the Lobster Claw Nebula, is an emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia, located about 11 050 light-years from Earth. The predominantly yellow region of the nebula is a very large hydrogen area shaped by the stellar wind from several giant stars, while the blue areas in the image consist mainly of highly ionized oxygen and other gases.

Location: 63 degrees north with a bortle 4 sky.
